A Chinese scientist has been charged with economic espionage for stealing trade secrets from two US companies and giving them to China and Germany. Chinese-born Kexue Huang, now a permanent US resident, stole secrets on pesticide from a subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company and also stole secrets on a new food product being developed by Cargill Inc. He faces a possible prison sentence of 25 years.
